FootRankPrivacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data the FootRank: 5-a-Side Ranking app ("FootRank", "the app") and the website footrankcy.com collect, why, and what rights you have.
1. Who is responsible for your data
The data controller is Chrysostomos Antoniou, Tillirias 14, 2039 Nicosia, Cyprus. You can contact us at chrysostomos@footrankcy.com.
2. Data we collect
- Account data: your email address, name or username, profile photo, city and playing position, and the sign-in method you choose (email, Google, Apple or Facebook).
- Team and match data: the teams you create or join, matches you request or play, scores you or your captain confirm, and the rankings and Pitch Power ratings calculated from them.
- Payment data: if you pay a match fee, the payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your card number.
- Messages to us: anything you send when you email us.
The website itself does not use advertising cookies or analytics trackers.
3. How we use your data
- To create and run your account and let you use the app.
- To match teams, record results and calculate rankings and ratings.
- To process match-fee payments and prevent fraud or abuse.
- To respond to your questions and requests, and to keep the service secure.
4. Legal bases
We process your data to perform our service to you (providing the app), for our legitimate interests (keeping the app secure and improving it), to meet legal obligations, and, where required, with your consent.
5. Who we share data with
We do not sell your personal data. We use trusted service providers to run FootRank, for example Supabase (secure hosting, database and sign-in), Stripe (payments), and Google, Apple and Facebook if you choose to sign in with them. Some of your information, such as your name, team, city and ranking, is visible to other FootRank users because that is how the app works.
6. How long we keep data
We keep your data while your account is active and for as long as needed to provide the service or meet legal requirements. You can ask us to delete your account and personal data at any time.
7. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to certain processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. To use these rights, email chrysostomos@footrankcy.com. You may also complain to the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection in Cyprus.
8. Children
FootRank is not intended for young children. If you believe a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
